If a fire is detected, the sensor alerts everyone instantly. It unleashes a piercing ≥85dB audible siren accompanied by a rapidly flashing red LED indicator. A built-in one-touch physical button allows for easy manual testing or temporary silencing (hushing) if needed.

Installation

New Builds & Extensions: Governed strictly by Building Regulations (Approved Document B). Every newly constructed home or major renovation must have a Grade D1 / Category LD2 system. This translates to mains-powered, interlinked smoke alarms with a 10-year tamper-proof battery backup situated in all circulation areas (hallways, landings) and high-risk rooms (lounges), plus a dedicated heat alarm in the kitchen. This smart smoke alarm is in addition to required fire alarm systems, NOT a replacement.
